Lane closure hours on H-1 viaduct adjusted

Advertiser Staff

The state Department of Transportation said today that work hours on the H-1 viaduct's west-bound lanes will be moved up by an hour, starting tonight.

Work will begin at 7 p.m. and continue until 3 a.m., Monday through Friday. Work hours will be 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday through Sunday.

Weather permitting, three of five lanes will be closed, beginning from the airport off-ramp to the end of the viaduct. The speed limit in the two open lanes will be 15 mph.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes such as Moanalua Freeway or Kamehameha Highway.
