NFL: Hue Jackson will interview again with 49ers

Associated Press

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Hue Jackson is getting a second interview with the San Francisco 49ers for their vacant offensive coordinator position.

Jackson, the Baltimore Ravens' quarterbacks coach, was an offensive coordinator in Atlanta and Washington. He is just the second of seven known candidates to get a second interview with 49ers coach Mike Singletary, who fired Mike Martz on Dec. 30.

Former St. Louis coach Scott Linehan also interviewed twice, but turned down the job. San Francisco interviewed former Broncos, Giants and Falcons coach Dan Reeves last week.

The 49ers also interviewed former Ravens assistant Mike Johnson for their vacant quarterbacks coach position Tuesday.
