A 57-year-old man who was injured in a Jan. 10 motorcycle accident died Friday, the Honolulu medical examiner's officer said.

The man was identified as Stanley Lambert.

Lambert was critically injured after he was thrown from his silver Harley-Davidson near the entrance of the Kalaeloa Barbers Point Harbor just before 3 a.m. on Jan. 10. He veered onto the left gravel shoulder of the road and hit a concrete piling barrier.

There have been eight fatalities on O'ahu roadways so far this year, compared to five at this time in 2008, police said.
