City crews clear Kailua Beach of dangerous trees

City crews today cut down and removed trees along Kailua Beach that are in danger of falling because of erosion.

The work took place about 120 yards toward the Kaneohe side of the boat ramp.

Trees that were deemed to pose possible safety hazards were cut down.
