LAS VEGAS — Hilo's BJ Penn and Canada's Georges St-Pierre went through separate "open workouts" today at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in preparation for Saturday's UFC 94 main event.

The workouts are more of a photo opportunity for the media, so neither fighter broke much of a sweat.

Penn did some half-speed boxing and kickboxing, and then a little bit of grappling with his trainers.

"I talked a lot, I said a lot of stuff; there's really not much more for me to say," Penn said. "It's time to fight."

Penn and St-Pierre will meet for the UFC welterweight (170 pounds) world championship.

The official weigh-ins are scheduled for tomorrow at 2 p.m., Hawaii time.
