Speedskating: Germans win two World Cup titles

FRANKFURT, Germany — Jenny Wolf and Anni Friesinger gave Germany two victories at a speedskating World Cup meet Friday.

Wolf won the 500-meter sprint in a course-record 37.58 seconds for her 12th win of the season. Friesinger captured the 1,500 in 1:56.90 for her first win in 11 months.

In the men's races, Yu Fengtong of China edged Keiichiro Nagashima of Japan by .01 seconds to win the 500 in 35.03. Tucker Fredricks of the United States was third.

Sven Kramer of the Netherlands won the 5,000 in a course-record time of 6:16.02, taking the lead in the season standings.
