AMERICAN SAVINGS BANK

American Savings Bank has promoted the following employees to senior vice president within its Commercial Markets Division: Laurie Cateriano of Cash Management Services, Dean Hirabayashi of Commercial Real Estate Lending, Riley Mende of Commercial Banking and Terence Yeh of Corporate Banking.

Danford Oshima has been promoted to first vice president, commercial banking officer.

ASB also has announced the following hires: Ann Lee as vice president, commercial real estate loan officer; Arnold Santayana, as branch manager of its Kapalama location; Chad Imano and Kenneth Kirton as financial advisers. Also, Taylor Kirihara will manage the relationships and financial needs of American's Downtown business customers.

NORDIC PCL CONSTRUCTION

Nordic PCL Construction Inc. has named John Voorhees, project manager for its special projects division. He has been with the company for more than three years and has more than seven years of construction experience.

MARRIOTT INTERNATIONAL

Marriott International Inc. has named Bill Countryman general manager of the Wailea Beach Marriott Resort & Spa. He will be responsible for a 546-room facility.

KING & NEEL

King & Neel Inc. has hired Ty Nojima as account executive and Paul Kennedy as bond manager.

ARGOSY UNIVERSITY

KAWIKA KANE has been appointed associate director of university outreach by Argosy University.

AON CORP.

Marcus Kim, Janet Ng, Jeff Case and Frank Wirt have joined Aon Corporation's Honolulu office. Aon is a leading risk adviser and insurance broker.

Kim will focus on healthcare systems, long-term care, physician groups and large property portfolios.

Ng will be responsible for the sales and servicing of controlled insurance programs.

Case will help clients manage their property, casualty and executive liability risks.

Wirt will focus on surety issues related to its contractor and developer clients.
