The four-time Grammy Award-winning R&B/soul group Boyz II Men returns to the Islands to set the mood for Valentine's Day. The group's current lineup consists of Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman and Wanya Morris. Between 1992 and1997, the band recorded five No. 1 hits, including "End of the Road," "I'll Make Love to You," and "One Sweet Day" with Mariah Carey, which set and broke records for the longest period of time a single remained at No. 1 on the BIllboard Hot 100, a record they still hold.

Island-favorite Pepper, a rock band with its roots in Kailua,Kona, returns to the Islands for a three-island tour. The group, famous for "Dirty Hot Sex," is now based in Southern California. Band members are Kaleo Wassman on vocals and guitar, Bret Bollinger on vocals and bass and Yesod Williams on drums.

He's long been one of our favorites; yours, too. Join in celebrating the accomplishments of recently retired Wayne Harada, the longtime Advertiser columnist and entertainment writer. The special night "Hurray for Haradawood" will cover 44 years of memories, with proceeds from the charity event going to the Helping Hands Hawai'i. Among the many entertainers slated to perform are Robert Cazimero, Amy Hanaiali'i, Frank DeLima, Al Waterson, Jimmy Borges, Loretta Ables Sayre and Rip Taylor. Grammy Award-winning slack key artists Dennis Kamakahi, George Kahumoku and Richard Ho'opi'i will soon be taking their talents to the Mainland for a two-month "Hawaii National Treasures Tour," scheduled for March and April. This concert will be their final show before they depart.

It's hard to believe that the band that brought you sing-along hits like "The Joker," "Rock'n Me" and "Abracadabra" — all Billboard No. 1s — has been around since 1966. But, that's The Steve Miller Band for you, still rocking strong. After more than 40 years of belting out unforgetable lyrics like "space cowboy" and "gangster of love," the band comes to Honolulu with guest star Joe Cocker in tow.
