Samoan youths get help with college applications

The Samoan Ala Mai Conference designed to explain the college admissions process to Samoan middle and high school students, as well as their parents, takes place at the University of Hawai'i at West O'ahu campus' theater from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow.

Sponsored by the UH Manoa Office of Multicultural Student Services and the UH West O'ahu campus, the conference will discuss the university system, and its application, admissions and financial aid procedures.

The conference is free and open to the public.
