Foodbank to honor World War II Filipino-American veterans

U.S. Sen. Daniel Inouye and retired Army Major General Antonio Taguba will honor Hawaiçi's Filipino-American veterans of World War II tomorrow at the Hawaiçi Footbank's annual Patriots Celebration.

The event, a fundraiser for the Foodbank, will be held at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, Coral Ballroom, from 6 to 9 p.m.
Representives of the 1st and 2nd Filipino Infantry Regiments, Philippine Scouts, Organized Guerillas, POWs and other Filipino-American veterans will be in attendance.
