Firefighters and rescue team members are being sent to the Hauula Homestead Road trail in response to a report of an injured hiker.

The hiker was reported to be about a half mile up the trail.
The Fire Department helicopter has also been called to assist in the operation.
The fire crews were sent out on the call about 11:10 a.m.
