BANK OF HAWAII

Ai Wah Ng has been promoted to senior vice president of wholesale credit at Bank of Hawaii. Her responsibilities include credit oversight for various markets including corporate, commercial real estate, auto dealers and private banking. She has more than 18 years experience in lending.

Kenneth Sheffield has been promoted to vice president and business development officer for the Trust and Private Client Services Division. He joined the division in 2007 as a wealth consultant.

Lewis Slusher Jr. has joined Bank of Hawaii as vice president and compliance officer in Bank of Hawaii's Corporate Compliance Department. Slusher manages the bank's compliance programs and conducts quality assurance reviews.

Robyn Tanaka has been hired as vice president and retail credit analytics and reporting manager in Bank of Hawaii's Retail Credit Department. Tanaka works with the bank's mortgage, consumer and business banking credit portfolios.

JACK IN THE BOX

Jack in the Box has announced a number of promotions. Donna Yano is now vice president of Scanlan Management, the local franchisee for Jack in the Box. She was previously human resources and communications manager.

Marita Celino has been named area manager of Jack in the Box restaurants in Central and Windward O'ahu. She previously managed Jack in the Box restaurants in San Francisco and San Jose, California.

Jody Romero is now area manager of Jack in the Box restaurants in Leeward O'ahu. She has 34 years of operations experience in the Northern California area.

LANIHAU PROPERTIES

Lanihau Properties has appointed RILEY SMITH vice president of properties and Honokohau Development Project manager. A licensed engineer, he has nearly 20 years of experience in land management, development planning, design and construction.

AGRICULTURAL LEADERSHIP FOUNDATION

The Agricultural Leadership Foundation of Hawai'i recently announced its 2009 board of directors and officers. They are: president, John McHugh, vice president of Crop Care Hawaii; vice president, Melvin Matsuda, of Matsuda Fukuyama Farms; secretary, Diane Ley, deputy director of County of Hawaii Research and Development; treasurer, Matt Smith of the Gas Company, Inc.; and assistant treasurer, Stephanie Whalen, of Hawaii Agricultural Research Center.
