Exhibitors sought for Pacific Finance Expo, Aug. 15-16

The Hawai'i Council on Economic Education is seeking exhibitors for the Pacific Finance Expo, Aug. 15-16 at at NeL Blaisdell Center exhibition hall.

The expo will feature free financial seminars on such topics as home finance, entrepreneurship, retirement and investing.

The cost of booth space for participating organizations and businesses starts at $700.

This is the first public expo the council has conducted.

"Until now, most of the council's work has focused on K-12 teachers in the classroom," said HCEE Executive Director Kristine Castagnaro. "However, because of the economic crisis facing our state and the world, there's a growing need for consumers to be better informed and educated on financial choices."
