Oxbow International, a France-based maker of board sportswear, said it is creating a division for Hawaiçi that will create sport fashion.

Oxbow Hawaii plans to have its wares sold statewide by early next year. Oxbow sponsors a longboard surf tour and sponsors eight local athletes, including Laird Hamilton, Duane DeSoto and Dave Kalama.
Oxbow, which is owned by outdoor equipment maker Lafuma S.A., also provides support Na Kama Kai, a Hawaiçi non-profit group that teaches Hawaii’s youth ocean awareness and safety.
