Got a hot tip, if you like to be entertained: Check out "Slava's Snowshow" Aug. 12-23 at the Hawai'i Theatre.

Seriously. This is one summer show you don't want to miss, and we're hearing way too much "Slava what?"

So, here it is: "Slava's Snowshow" is kind of like the Blue Man Group on steroids. Instead of faces painted blue, the characters are a bunch of clowns. And more entertaining. The audience interaction includes a blizzard whipping through, giant balls getting tossed about and some crazy props you can't help but be impressed with. Bottom line is this is not a show you forget, and that's what you want when you're shelling out $30 to $80 a ticket. Variety put it this way: " 'Slava's Snowshow' is to clowning what Cirque du Soleil is to the circus."

So, no more "Slava's what?" comments. Call the Hawai'i Theatre for tickets, and it will be one snowstorm you're happy you got caught in ...
