You may not find political correctness in Kumu Kahua’s summer remount of “Da Mayah,” but you will find spot-on political satire that will make you laugh … and might even make you sing.

The play by Lee Cataluna centers on shenanigans in the mayor’s office in Hilo, where staffers — and gangsters — make up for elected officials’ deficiencies, and plate lunches are given their due heft. Karaoke interludes add to the fun.
