Grand Cafe & Bakery, 31 N. Pauahi in Chinatown, has launched "Speakeasy Hours" every Friday from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

The new promotion is focused on beer at discount prices, wines by the glass and small plates created by chef Tony Vierra. The original Grand Cafe was originally founded by Vierra's great grandfather in the 1920s and this is a return to that era.
