Advertiser Staff

Shark warning signs have been taken down, but lifeguards at Nanakuli Beach Park are continuing to monitor waters today.

Bryan Cheplic of the city's Emergency Services Division said in a news release that lifeguards removed the warning signs yesterday at 5:30 p.m.
Lifeguards conducted an assessment of the waters this morning at 9 and no shark was sighted.
Lifeguards will be telling beachgoers that a shark was spotted yesterday.
