Chaminade names Genz as associate dean for nursing

Chaminade University has named Stephanie Genz its new associate dean for nursing. She will begin her new job immediately and plans to open a School of Nursing for the university in fall 2010 to provide bachelor's degrees in nursing.

Genz served as a professor and assistant dean for nursing at Viterbo University, a Catholic university in La Crosse, Wis.

She received her bachelor's in nursing from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. She earned her master's in public health nursing and her doctorate in higher education policy and administration from the University of Minnesota.
