The Pearl Harbor-based USS Chung-Hoon is due to return to Hawaii on Monday after a six-month deployment to Southeast Asia and other parts of the Western Pacific.

While in Southeast Asia, the guided missile destroyer participated in a series of bilateral exercises designed to boost military readiness and help the navies of different countries work together.
The drills paired the Chung-Hoon with militaries from Brunei, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand.
