Real dogs play starring roles in the feature film at tomorrow’s Kids First! Film Festival: “Heidi 4 Paws: A Furry Tale.”
This installment of the free film festival in the University of Hawaiçi Art Auditorium is aimed at kids ages 5 to 12 and fits four films into 82 minutes.
Starting at 3 p.m., catch three shorts: “Ish,” about the importance of creativity; “Wild About Books,” a rhymed story about a librarian who introduces animals to reading; and finally “The Happy Duckling,” about a boy and a duck.
The final film is a 58-minute retelling of “Heidi,” with real dogs playing roles voiced by top actors.
