PIMPBOT to open for Candlebox at Pipeline

Advertiser Staff

Local band PIMPBOT will be opening up for Candlebox on Aug. 7 at Pipeline Cafe. The last show the group played at Pipeline was with Third Eye Blind in a sold-out concert.

Seattle-based alternative rock band Candlebox is known for such mega hits as "Far Behind," "Miss You" and "Cover Me." They released their latest album in July 2008 called "Into the Sun." The album is an eclectic mix of rhythms and textures highlighted by an eight-minute Pink Floyd-ian called "Breathe Me."
Tickets are available at www.groovetickets.com, by calling 877-71-GROOV, at the Pipeline Café box office, Hawaii’s Natural High and at www.kingmichelconcerts.com. Doors to the all-ages show open at 9 p.m.
