Advertiser Staff

Hawaii's Brian Ching was named to the Major League Soccer All-Star game by his Houston Dynamo coach Dominic Kinnear.

Kinnear also picked two other Dynamo players to join the All-Star team.

In addition to goalkeeper Pat Onstad, midfielder Brad Davis and forward Ching, Kinnear also added three others to the 18-man team. Seattle Sounders defender Jhon Kennedy Hurtado and forward Fredy Montero will join Kansas City midfielder Davy Arnaud.

The first-year Sounders have four players headed to Sandy, Utah, for the game against Everton of the Premier League on July 29.

Monday's choices put five Houston players on the roster.
