2-month North Shore art exhibit to begin Aug. 31

The Friends of the Waialua Public Library will host an art exhibit opening and reception from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 31 at the library.

The annual North Shore Artists Show is free and features ceramics by artists and students under Mary Lawrence, tattoo art by Buddy and Nancy Conte, paintings by former world surf champion Lynne Boyer, reconfigured jewelry by Anne Whalen, mixed media by Maryke Bol, mermaid paintings by Shannon Harder and works of art from Howard Farrant.

Refreshments will be served and the show will run for two months. For information, call 637-8286.
