Waipahu woman, 71, arrested after alleged knife threat

A 71-year-old Waipahu woman was arrested yesterday after she allegedly threatened her 49-year-old roommate with a large kitchen knife.
Police were told the two women were arguing when the older woman grabbed the knife and threatened to stab the younger woman.
Officers responded to a call about an argument at a home on Maikai Place and arrested the older woman on suspicion of terroristic threatening.
