World-renowned artist Dalek will show a new piece in the "2D: The Art of 2Day" exhibit at SoHo Mixed Media Bar Aug. 7 to benefit The Contemporary Museum.

Dalek (James Marshall), known for his Space Monkey character, is creating an original piece on multiple panels at SoHo leading up to the unveiling during the August First Friday Art Walk through the Chinatown Art District.

Soho, located at 80 S. Pauahi St., will open its doors at 6 p.m.

In4mation and Dalek have designed a limited edition T-shirt and print for the event and everyone who buys a t-shirt will receive a one-year individual membership at The Contemporary Museum.
