A 26-year-old Wai'anae man was arrested in Mililani Sunday night after his ex-girlfriend told police the man ran her car off the road following an argument over child visitation.

Police responded about 6:30 p.m. to a report of an argument at the intersection of Makaikai and Ukuwai streets. The woman told police she had been arguing with her ex-boyfriend over visitation times involving their 2-month-old daughter.

The woman said that at one point, she got in her car and drove away with the couple's daughter.

She said the ex-boyfriend chased after her in his car, sideswiped her vehicle and forced her off the road.

Police arrested the man on suspicion of first-degree criminal property damage.
