NFL: Former Broncos running back returned to Montana

Associated Press

BILLINGS, Mont. — Former Denver Broncos running back Travis Henry, who was arrested in Florida two weeks ago for allegedly violating bond conditions on a federal drug conviction, has been returned to Montana.

Henry, who is being held at the Yellowstone County Detention Facility, was scheduled to be back in federal court Tuesday, but his attorney requested a continuation due to a scheduling conflict.

Henry pleaded guilty in April to conspiracy to possess 11 pounds of cocaine with intent to distribute, but was released on a $400,000 bond to attend to child support issues in Florida. He was arrested in Florida last month after testing positive for alcohol use, violating the terms of his release.

Henry was arrested in Denver last October after authorities broke apart a drug ring that trafficked cocaine between Colorado and Montana. He was described as the "money guy" who helped finance the operation.
