Hawaii weather: Warm, partly cloudy again today

Gentle trade winds will continue through tonight near the Big Island while light winds blow across the smaller islands, the National Weather Service said.

Sea breezes will produce cloudy skies this afternoon, but will bring little rainfall, according to the forecast.
Land breezes will bring clearing tonight.
Normal trade winds are expected to return tomorrow Once the trades are back, showers will be concentrated over windward areas, mainly during nights and mornings.
The atmosphere will be stable so rainfall will remain light.

Here’s a closer look at how the rest of the work week is shaping up:

Today: Isolated showers after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 87. Southeast wind between 5 and 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Tonight: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. East wind around 7 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 85. East wind between 10 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Thursday Night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 73. East wind between 11 and 14 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a high near 85. East wind between 14 and 16 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

Friday Night: Isolated showers. Partly cloudy, with a low around 72. East wind between 11 and 15 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.
