Hawai‘i center fielder Kolten Wong was named to the Louisville Slugger's Freshman All-American team, it was announced by Collegiate Baseball newspaper's online edition today.

The 2008 graduate of Kamehameha-Hawai‘i was one of 17 outfielders selected. He also was named several weeks ago the Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year. He batted .341 with 11 home runs, 21 doubles, two triples and 52 RBI.
