Two-for-one cat adoptions this month

By Ashlee Duenas
Advertiser Staff Writer

Attention feline fanatics! The Hawaiian Humane Society is celebrating cats throughout June with two-for-one cat adoptions (six months or older). Not only do you get a free cat, they will also throw in free cat food and toys.

Pamela Burns, President and CEO of Hawaiian Humane Society, said in a statement, “Cats bring joy and comfort into our lives and we want to find them lifelong companions. Every cat deserves a lap!”
In addition, animal lovers and their feline friends are invited to attend the “Meow Mele.” There will be a clicker demonstration for cats, a cat costume contest, a demonstration on making cat toys and a Household Cat Show with Aloha Cat Fanciers.
The “Meow Mele” will be held on Sunday, June 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Moiliili Shelter.
Crazy Shirts will also be joining in on the feline fun by offering signature, limited edition Adopt-A-Cat shirts. The shirts can be found on sale at the Humane Society, Ala Moana and Pearlridge Shopping Center. A portion of the sales of shirts purchased at Ala Moana and Pearlridge will be donated to The Hawaiian Humane Society.
