Green Earth Media presents the Oahu premiere of the eye-opening documentary “FUEL.”

Winner of the 2008 Sundance Best Documentary Audience Award, “FUEL” explores green energy solutions to America’s oil problem. While at Sundance, the film received 11 standing ovations and was called “the most hopeful film of the year” by Woody Harrelson.

The film features an all-star cast and interviews with people ranging from our nation’s leaders to Hollywood celebrities including Julia Roberts, Sir Richard Branson, Woody Harrelson, Willie Nelson, Sheryl Crow and former president Jimmy Carter.

In attendance will be special guests Jeff Mikulina, executive director of Blue Planet Foundation, Henk Rogers, founder of Blue Planet Foundation and Josh Tickell, the film’s director.

The premiere is set for 6:30 p.m. June 26 at the Neil S. Blaisdell Concert Hall. Admission is $10 and all seats are reserved.

In light of the film’s message, guests are asked to come early to visit the Green and Sustainable Vendors (4:30 to 6:30 p.m.) and to bring old phone books and glossy magazines to be put in a recycling truck, courtesy of Hagadone Printing. Guests are also encouraged to carpool or take public transportation to the event.

Tickets are available at the Blaisdell Box Office, ticketmaster.com, gemhawaii.com, and by phone 1-800-745-3000.
