Bamboo Ridge authors, actors and musicians will get together tomorrow for an “Aloha Shorts” radio show taping with live readings and music about whether to stay in Hawai'i or go to the Mainland. Cedric Yamanaka hosts.

As summer vacation, graduations and the high cost of living make some Hawaiçi residents wonder where to live, the Bamboo Ridge writers are focusing on the advantages of living in Hawaiçi over the Mainland, or vice versa.
The taping starts at 7 p.m. at Hawaii Public Radio’s Atherton Studio, with “house band” Hamajang offering pre-show entertainment at 6:45 p.m.
Admission is free, but seating is limited, so come early if you don’t have reservations, which are recommended. Details: 955-8821, www.hawaiipublicradio.org.
