Carrying on a family tradition, Campbell pitcher Katie Manuma added to the legacy this past season.

Manuma, a junior right-hander, was named O'ahu Interscholastic Association Western Division Player of the Year after a recent vote of league softball coaches.

Three of Manuma's sisters, Valana, Malamaisaua and Anita, are former high school standouts who went on to play college ball. Anita was named West Player of the Year in 2006.

Katie had a no-hitter, one-hitter and three-hitter en route to leading the Sabers to a 10-2 record and share of the West title.

Campbell placed three others on the OIA West all-star first team: outfielder Brittney Garcia, designated player Dayleen Antonio and utility player Gerika Pantohan.

Division co-champ Mililani also had four players on the first team: second baseman Kristi Oshiro, shortstop Courtney Senas, outfielder Jaimee Aiwohi and pitcher Kylee Rodrigues. Kapolei was represented by first baseman Alyssa Aipa, third baseman Kai Clark and pitcher Shavanna Holt-Santiago.

Leilehua outfielder Alex Smith and Waipahu catcher Angi Sakamoto round out the first team.

Campbell's David Perreira was named Coach of the Year.
