Feeling devilish this summer?
How about playing this trick on family and friends? Bake them a cake that looks so unappetizing, some people may think it's the real thing.
This cake looks like a real Kitty Litter box. The "deposits" are melted Tootsie Rolls making it look even more authentic. Kids have fun making it and eating it. Adults probably have to get over the "gross factor" first before agreeing to taste it.
My friend made this cake for his niece's birthday. He got mixed reviews but the shock factor was on point. He said, "She liked the taste, but her older brother had trouble eating the 'poop.' "

4. Using a fork, mix 1/4 cup cookie crumble with a few drops of green food coloring. Set aside as cake topping.
5. Break cooled cake into bits in a large bowl. Mix with half of the remaining cookie crumbles and enough pudding to moisten. (Do not add too much pudding.)
6. Add cake mixture to a brand new clean litter box.
7. Remove the Tootsie Rolls wrapping and heat (in small batches) in the microwave until pliable. Round ends to make them look like you-know-what.
8. Sprinkle Tootsie Rolls with remaining cookie crumbs and arrange on the top of the cake. You can even add some on the sides and on the rim of the litter box.
9. Sprinkle the green cookie crumbs on top.
10. Place kitty litter pan on newspaper sheets. Place new scooper in box and use to scoop “cake” out.
All the recipe versions on the Web say "use a brand new litter pan and scooper." I don't think anyone is dense enough to reuse a soiled litter pan and a scooper. At least, I hope not.
