The National Weather Service has issued a high-surf advisory for south-facing shores on all islands.

The advisory remains in effect until 6 p.m. tonight.
The weather service says waves along south-facing shores will be 7 to 10 feet today.
A high-surf advisory means large waves could produce rip currents and localized beach erosion.
Beachgoers are urged to practice caution and heed any warnings from lifeguards.
