Free MUVE classes begin tonight at Makiki Library

Advertiser staff

On Tuesdays at 5:45 p.m., the all-volunteer Makiki Library is offering free MUVE sessions for anyone to learn the basics of this dance and exercise program.
Maggie Kunkel, the creator of MUVE, has been teaching the method in Hawaii for over a decade.
“MUVE dancing is a natural sport. It gives you an extremely varied workout for your muscles and a cardio workout that is custom fit for your body,” Kunkel said. “No experience is required and you can't do it wrong.
Free sessions are offered Tuesdays from 5:45 to 6:45, beginning today, June 16, through August 11. (No class on July 21.)
Classes meet at the Makiki Library, 1527 Keeaumoku St.
