It looks like we're in for a break from the heat of the past several days.

The National Weather Service says a strengthening high pressure area near Hawaii will bring an increase in trade winds that will persist through the weekend.
Along with the increase in winds, shower activity is also expected to increase, with showers mostly affecting windward and mauka areas.

Tomorrow: Scattered showers, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 85. Breezy, with a east wind between 17 and 24 mph, with gusts as high as 31 mph. There is a 40 percent chance of rain.
Tomorrow night: Scattered showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 75. Breezy, with a east wind around 22 mph, with gusts as high as 29 mph. There is a 50 percent chance of rain.
