DTRIC Insurance Underwriters, Ltd., a Hawaiçi-based provider of workers’ compensation, commercial property and motor insurer for businesses, has been assigned an A- financial strength rating and an issuer credit rating of a- by A.M. Best Co.

Both the A- and the a- ratings are also refered to as “excellent” by A.M. Best on its Web site. Best said the outlook for both ratings is stable.
Best said the company is fully owned by DTRIC Insurance Company Limited (Hawaii), whose primary shareholder is Aioi Insurance Company, Limited (Japan).
