City to prune tree at Wailupe Beach Park

Work crews will prune a large banyan tree at Wailupe Beach Park starting Monday.

The city will also start planting to replace a dead wiliwili tree near the Wailupe comfort station.

Other trees will be planted upon the completion of the Kalanianaole sewer project.

At the same time 48 Paraguay tea trees that have become a structural problem will be removed near Aiea High School. Replacement trees will be planted.
