Lifeguards rescue 3 people stranded on Mokulua islets
Lifeguards helped three people who were stranded on the Mokulua islets off Lanikai yesterday, including one who had an injured leg.
Ocean Safety personnel responding to a 3:30 p.m. call reached the three people and brought them ashore about 4:30 p.m., said Honolulu fire Capt. Robert Main.
One had an injured leg and was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, Main said.
