Learn ukulele on the iPhone

Advertiser Staff

iPhone enthusiasts might get strung on Ukulele Chord Kumu, a new iPhone and iPod Touch application that allows you to learn 108 of the most common ukulele chords.

Created by father-son team Joe and George Uno, the application helps users to look up the most common chords in all keys and suggest fingerings. The app also provides users with a hands-free tuner to help users tune their ukes to standard GCEA standards before they play.

This is the first application made by the Unos, but they have plenty more ideas on the drawing board.

The only draw back is a lack of strumming capabilities. To put it simply, the app is chord reference system only. The app is available at the iTunes store for $1.99.
