Service Saturday for G. Raymond Nunn

The family of University of Hawai'i professor emeritus G. Raymond Nunn, who died April 8, will hold a memorial service for him at 3 p.m. Saturday at St. Clement's Episcopal Church, 1515 Wilder Ave. in Makiki.

Nunn, 90, taught at UH from 1961 to 1997.

He was born in Surrey, England. Nunn served in the British and Indian armies as a major and intelligence officer. He graduated from the University of London and the University of Michigan, and is the author of 19 books.

Nunn is survived by his wife, three children and five grandchildren.
