Advertiser staff

Phoenix Dance Chamber will perform at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 28 at the Kaimuki Public Library, 1041 Koko Head Ave.
The award-winning troupe will present Chinese folk, classical and modern dance in a free performance, sponsored by the Friends of Kaimuki Library.
The Phoenix Dance Chamber is a Chinese dance company affiliated with the Hawaii Foundation for Chinese Culture and Arts, a non-profit organization established for the appreciation of Chinese heritage in our communities.
The performers are an international cross-section of dancers who share a common interest in Chinese dance. The performance group has a repertoire of over 30 dances from different ethnic groups and regions of China. The dances are choreographed by professionals in China, Prof. Liu Youlan of the Beijing Dance Academy, or Diane Letoto, Director of the Phoenix Dance Chamber.
