Four charged in first-degree robbery of store

Four men, one of whom was a former all-Star Farrington High School football player were charged this afternoon with first degree robbery for allegedly robbing a Honolulu business and threatening the clerk with a machete Friday.

Charged were Skylawn Folaumahina, 19, Albert Mason, 20, Kendrick Ngiramau,18, and Aovai Sula, 20. They will make a court appearance tomorrow at 9 a.m. at the state District Court. They are being held in lieu of $50,000 bail each.
Two of the men, Folaumahina and Ngiralmau allegedly entered the business at 2:25 p.m. Friday and began chatting with the clerk. Soon after, one of the other men with a red bandana covering his face entered with a machete and demanded money. Police said the three suspects in a vehicle drove away by the fourth suspect.

Folaumahina made the 2008 Honolulu Advertiser Division I All-State
second team as an offensive lineman for Farrington. He also made the 2008
Oahu Interscholastic Association Red Conference Eastern Division first team
