Tsai named new Kalani boys soccer coach

Mike Tsai has been named the new head coach for Kalani's boys soccer team, according to the school.

Tsai takes over for Carl Kim who stepped down to further pursue his education.

Tsai coached the Castle boys soccer team from 1994-1999 leading the team to O'ahu Interscholastic Association tournament for five straight years with the highest finish being second.
He also guided the Castle team to four state tournaments. Tsai was named Hawai'i State Coach of the Year by the NSCAA in 1997.

Tsai left Castle in 1999 to pursue business interests on the Mainland and has since returned to Hawai'i. He currently holds a bachelor's degree in social sciences from Washington State.
