July 4 event at Wet 'N' Wild to benefit Konishiki Kids Foundation

Youth from the Konishiki Kids Foundation, founded by one of the world's most prestigious professional sumo wrestlers from Nanakuli, will celebrate July 4 with live music, games and fireworks at Wet ’n’ Wild Hawaii.
Saleva’a Atisanoe, better known as Konishiki and the Konishiki Kids Foundation will host activities from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m., including watermelon and hot dog eating contests.
Winners may receive prizes including ukuleles, video game consoles or flat-screen televisions.
In June, the Park introduced two new rides, Island Racers and Raging River, which will be open during the July 4 event.
From 5 to 8 p.m., local musicians will perform, including Jeff and Robi (Jeff Rasmussen and Robi Kahakalau), Vaihi and Fiji. Konishiki will also perform, then meet guests and sign autographs.
The day will be capped off by a fireworks display, by Fireworks by Grucci , at 8 p.m.Discounted tickets are on sale at Oahu 7-Eleven stores for $25.

Tickets will also be available on the day of the event. Annual pass holders must purchase tickets to attend the event, as a portion of the day’s admission receipts will benefit the Konishiki Kids Foundation.
