Two men were taken to The Queen's Medical Center early yesterday after a head-on collision near Kualoa Ranch.

A 34-year-old Makakilo man in a 1995 Honda crossed from the southbound lane of Kamehameha Highway and into the northbound lane, then crashed head-on into a 2002 Honda driven by a 26-year-old Hau'ula man, police said.

Both were taken to Queen's in serious condition. Alcohol may have been a factor, police said.

The collision occurred at 11:49 p.m. Saturday.
