Advertiser Staff

A 3.4 magnitude earthquake shook Maui at 8:39 p.m. last night, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The earthquake was felt on parts of Moloka'i and Kamuela on the Big Island. But police said there were no reports of damage.

The quake was centered 15 miles west-south-west of the Hana, Pukalani and Makawao areas.

More than 300 people reported that they felt the quake on the "Did You Feel It?" page of the USGS' website.
