University of Hawaii center fielder Kolten Wong was named to Baseball America's Freshman All-America Team, the newspaper's Web site announced today.

Wong batted .341, scoring 46 runs, hitting 11 home runs with 52 RBI. He also had 11 steals.
The Western Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year also has been named to three other Freshman All-American teams. He also was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings all-West Regional second team.
He is playing with the USA National Team this summer that will travel to Japan and Canada.
